# Electrical Transformers

#### **Why** **it’s** **important**

Electrical Transformers downshift high-voltage to low-voltage in key points of a power network, they can overheat and in extremes catch fire.

#### **Who has this challenge**

Electrical Utilities, Municipal, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mining and Resources

#### **Why are they hard to reach**

- Outdoor sometimes harsh environments
- Legacy disconnected systems
- Transformers scattered in a precinct/site or remote
- Distributed city, state, national, global

#### **Devices used in this solution**

- Temperature Probe Sensor
- On/Off Sensor (for Fan Cooled units)
